Jazz legend Fred Hersch, making his PUC debut on our Healing with Music series, spent several months in an AIDS-related coma in 2008. He transformed his memories of that harrowing experience into a deeply moving original jazz-theater piece, My Coma Dreams. You can now stream the 90-minute work, recorded from a performance at the Miller Theater at Columbia University.
