Live Music Meditation
About the Event
Breathe in sound and silence through guided meditation as you listen to music more viscerally than ever before, feeling its vibrations slowly fade into the splendor of nature. We invite you to experience our popular Breathe in Music program in a new outdoor format, combining meditation instruction by Matthew Weiner, Associate Dean in the Office of Religious Life, with live music performed by the next generation of classical music stars.
No prior experience with meditation necessary. Each event is limited to 50 participants, and advanced tickets are required for entry. Masks are encouraged. Patrons will be directed to a dedicated seat on the ground, and are asked to remain within this socially-distant space for the comfort of other attendees. If desired, patrons are encouraged to bring a blanket, mat, or chair for use during the meditation, as no seating is provided.
Co-sponsored by the Princeton University Office of Religious Life and Graduate School, and D&R Greenway Land Trust.
Afternoon Session (2PM):
Offering a midday reset within the timeless calm of the graduate college courtyard.
Twilight Session (5:30PM):
Welcoming you to unwind at dusk, watching the sunset together within the magical surroundings of the D&R Greenway Land Trust.
